Our Goals and Values:

Why we exist: Our Mission

Grace Anglican is a community of worshiping disciples who seek to be Faithful to the Holy Scriptures, Formed by the Holy Sacraments, and Filled with the Holy Spirit in order to grow in and share the Good News of Jesus Christ within our city.

What is important to us: Our Values

Faithful and Joyful Worship. We gather in the power of God’s Spirit to praise and adore Him while joyfully receiving his grace proclaimed in God’s Word and at God’s Table in the breaking of bread. (John 4:23; Acts 2:42)

Caring Fellowship. We seek to foster closer relationships through the sharing of our lives so that we may fulfill the law of Christ to love one another. (John 13:34; Gal. 6:2, 10)

Life-Long Discipleship. We depend upon the work of the Spirit to produce the fruit of Jesus’ character in us though the study of his Word, prayer, worship and the service of others. (John 13:35; Acts 2:42, 2 Cor. 3:18, Gal. 5:22, Col. 2:6-7).

Kingdom-Centered Prayer. We focus on the greatness of God and his kingdom to align our prayers with his priorities as we share our needs with the Lord and his family. (Luke 11:1-13, Act 4:23-31).

Sharing the Gospel. We share the good news about all that Jesus is, has done, and will yet do for us. We seek to embody the truth of the gospel through words, acts of service and godly obedience as we rely upon the equipping power of the Spirit. (Matthew 5:14-16; 28:16-20).

What we seek to accomplish: Our Vision

“Connecting, Maturing, and Equipping disciples of Jesus to share God’s beautiful Good News.”

God’s Glory seen through the Church in every corner of the city.

We aim to declare the glorious beauty of God made known to us in Christ and made alive to us in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to making and maturing disciples that are equipped to witness to the gospel for the sake of God’s glory. We desire that God would multiply his church though the raising up up leaders who will plant new ANiC churches in every quadrant of Calgary. We pray and labour to this end.(Rom. 11:33, 2 Cor. 3:18- 4:6, 1 Peter 2:9-10, The Book of Acts).
