Who we are | Our name

Our name Grace Anglican says much about who we are as a worshiping community.

Grace is God the Father’s undeserved favour towards sinners, which has come in and through His Son, Jesus Christ, to all who trust in Jesus as Saviour and Lord and is assured in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We all need God’s grace to be reconciled to God and to be renewed according to His design for our lives.

Anglicanism brings together the authority of the Bible, the historic faith as articulated in the ancient Creeds, and the beauty of structured prayer. We are members of the Anglican Network in Canada, a diocese of Anglican Church in North America.

Why We exist | Our Mission and Values

Our mission statement is an expression of our priorities and values.

Sharing, following, and growing-in Jesus Christ

through the Spirit, the Scriptures, and the Sacraments

to the glory of God the Father.

Reconciliation. Through his death and resurrection Jesus has reconciled us to His Father, making us children of God and members of family of God, the Church. This gracious gift, expressed in the sacrificial love of Jesus towards the lost and the broken, shapes our mission and ministry.

Renewal. Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, God’s family is made alive and renewed toward a deeper understanding of the depths of our sin and deeper depths of God’s love for us. By the Spirit, and nurtured by the Scriptures and the Sacraments, we may grow in Christ-like character and mission; and are equipped to discover our gifts and abilities so that the whole church may participate in God’s mission.

Relationships. Jesus lives for the glory of His Father above all else. When Jesus calls us into a dynamic living relationship with Him and His People, we are invited and challenged to do the same. Relationships are deepened and enriched through worship, prayer, and intentionally sharing our lives with others.
